BJJ classes are designed to advance your techniques, confidence, and progress. Private classes are suitable for all levels of experience from novice students to black belts. These classes are open to current students, Tourists, BJJ visitors, students preparing for competitions, people that want to learn self-defense techniques, self-defense for women and for people that require a flexible training schedule. In fact, anyone that is interested in training in BJJ will benefit from private classes.

Carlson Gracie Amsterdam Private BJJ Classes are conducted by our instructors at our gyms. You will have the opportunity to learn techniques with a 5th-degree black belt and get individualized feedback on your progress.

Marcos Flexa is on the official list of Black Belts by Master Carlson Gracie and also on the official IBJJF Black Belt List as a 5th-degree black belt.

Congratulations to the whole Carlson Gracie Amsterdam team for the great performance during the Europeans IBJJF 2018.

Deborah Mebius won the gold medal in the Blue Belt Master. She won the semi final with a 30 seconds Choke Submission.

Bronze For The Young Lion Dusan in absolute juvenile division in the first blue belt competition. In the meanwhile, his father Misha dominated and won his 1st fight, but unfortunately no podium this time. A really Casca-Grossa family!

In the Female Black Belt Master Olga Lyashevska won Silver in her division and Bronze in the Open Class.

Bronze for Yin Khor on the Blue Belt Master with 2 Powerful Submissions. In the Second Fight Yin Khor choked out the girl using her Favorite baseball choke.

Malte Meinken DOUBLE SILVER! With the total of 6 victories Malte Meinken started very well in his first competition in the brown belt.

In the black belt Master Desmond fought in the heavy category and won The second place (Silver medal) but his normal category is medium heavy.

Raphael Abi-Rihan is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Luis “Manimal” who held some of the sport’s most prestigious titles, such as European Open Champion, Brazilian Nationals Champion and Rio Open Champion. Known for his aggressive passing style, Abi Rihan has submission victories over many top competitors such as Tarsis Humphreys and Victor Estima. Raphael is also a successful coach and organizers of the “Copa America” and many other important tournaments in the Brazilian circuit.

Another excellent seminar this is coming on January 10, with the black belt 4 degrees Olavo Abreu from Brazilian Top Team and Carlson Gracie Copacabana.
Olavo has worked as a Head Trainer at Brazilian Top Team, where he taught names such as Rodrigo Minotauro, Paulo Filho, Ricardo Arona and more. Olavo worked in Abu Dhabi for 8 years – setting up the now famous Abu Dhabi Combat Club & Championships. Olavo Abreu was awarded his black belt from the world famous Carlson Gracie. Olavo is now a 4th degree black belt teaching out of Phuket Top Team Mixed Martial Arts Training Camp in Thailand.
